Our English lessons: guest Anca Hatiegan (Ph.D., theater history)

The distinguished guest held lectures for secondary school and high school students. She told about the history of the theater from the Greco-Roman period to the present. The lecturer also talked about Ukrainian achievements in this field, mentioned the director Les Kurbas, the artist Vasyl Kandinsky. She told about the Odesa Opera and the theater in Chernivtsi.

Anka Hatiegan is an associate professor at the Faculty of Theater and Cinema at the Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai din Cluj-Napoca, specializing in the history of Romanian theater. She wrote Double Man Books (2010) and Morning of the Actress (2019) about the first Romanian actress.
